Music Volume fades away …

Has anyone experienced this? Today was the first time this happened. I always play music via Bluetooth from my iPhone. Today I noticed that whenever I made a turn, the volume faded away and I had to turn it up again

Not really, I have been driving this for 2 weeks now. My driving style hasn’t changed

If it happens consistently, try listening to a different music source and see if the same thing happens. If not, your phone might be the culprit.

It seems to have resolved itself. I had updated my software in the meanwhile.

New observation, probably after a software upgrade: the volume lowers itself when the passenger door is opened (also true when th driver door is opened). Anyone else experience this?

It’s been like that as long as I’ve had my car (3 1/2 yrs), no matter the music source.

This is by design, so that you don't share your music/podcast with the entire neighborhood when you open your door, and so that you don't get your ears blown out when you first sit down in the car. I don't mind so much, but of course whether or not this is good design is subjective.
