Mystery plug under frunk, near front bumper

When I had my front bumper off of my M3 to install the homelink module, I noticed there is an extra plug which attaches to nothing. It’s near the homelink plug. Anyone know what this is for? My guess is it will plug into the slow speed speaker which may eventually be required? The space where that goes isn’t far from this plug.

Hmm, I didn’t think to get a picture of that. Next time I pull the frunk I’ll let you know. Do you have a link to the schematics? I’d be interested to look through them.

I just happen to have a set of the electrical schematics.

I remember the connector being on there. I will look tomorrow and post the original colors.

Just beware production changes are constant.
