You can always purchase the acceleration boost software upgrade with the LR. It won't be a full Performance version, but isn't too far off.

I'm more interested in track mode than the acceleration boost to be honest.
Which might be due to FOMO, because I haven't been on a track since I did amateur rally in my youth

I feel the same. If i did it all over again, i would have purchased the performance version. Given your two options, its a tough call.

I think I might stick with the 3rd option. TM3P, sell the 20" wheels and get an aftermarket hitch.
Don't know if there's a market for 20" Tesla wheels, though.

How about the LR with acceleration boost (AB) for $2k more? You get close to the Performance. May make sense if you don't plan to track it. That's how I'm leaning right now.

Yeah that is an option i am thinking too if i ever get bored with the 4,1 seconds.... i dont think i ever will though

Don't buy a 500k car to do race track at Rudskogen.... i have seen too many Teslas there going out on a wheelchair... its just sad.
Rent a BMW instead on their track

Well then, it sounds as though you've answered your own question. However, as others have suggested, you might want to consider the 2021 M3P. You can order it to your exact liking and get the benefits of the new features, such as the heat pump, which may be quite beneficial in Norway, added range and new car warranty.

Yeah, I upgraded to the TM3P, I can always downgrade again after I've slept on it.
Good thing too, it was the last inventory ones, only LR left on the site.

I'm probably wasting my money, but with 0.25% interest rate it's not that hard to justify.
If this was anyone else asking for advice I'd say "take the LR and be happy you have an awesome car".
Why can't I be as level-headed with my own decision?
