Hello, I'm new here and I can't figure out how to reply to someone privately. I put something up for sale on the marketplace forum and I want to be able to work out logistics without putting private contact info in the public forum. I see references to private messages here and there, but can't find the actual option to start a conversation. Am I just not finding it or is there maybe a restriction on new accounts or some other problem?

Hi,
As stated I'm a new member in conversation with another member.
I am trying to purchase wheels from him. I tried to send him my outside email address and phone number so that we can conclude the transaction, but my message was blocked.
How are we supposed to conduct a transaction if we cannot communicate directly and share payment gateway account information? I'm frustrated, and don't feel I'm doing anything unseemly, or in violation of the club's rules.
I have searched the site, and cannot find info outlining protocols for conducting marketplace transactions between members.
Please help!!!!

First of all, I suggest you read through this warning, which talks specifically about a continuing effort by a scam ring to scam people on wheels and tires sales here.

Second, If you are already in a PM conversation with them (as in they PMed you ) then you should still be able to communicate through that PM. If you are both new users, I would suggest that you might be better off trying to find someone selling what you are looking for that isnt brand new here, based on the warning above.
