Hi Guys, I'm new to Tesla and this forum, so apologies in advance if I'm in the wrong place (hopefully not).
I'm based in the UK (near Cambridge) and am about to receive my first Tesla next Saturday 1st September - a 75D in Midnight Silver Metallic, with White Premium interior and 5 seat configuration. Needless to say I'm VERY excited!!
I'm planning to have a vinyl wrap Chrome Delete carried out in Satin Black and have the standard 20" Silver Slipstream wheels satin black powder coated. I've found two companies that can do this locally t me, and will visit them with the car before going ahead, but I'm slightly nervous as I don't think they've worked on Tesla's before (don't seem to be many UK companies that have). All i know about these processes has come from forums and Youtube, but I still have a few questions I hope you can help me with:
Chrome Delete
1. I plan to get all of the chrome (other than the front & rear 'T' logos) vinyl wrapped i.e. bonnet V trim, under headlight inlays, side view mirrors, side window trims, tail sidelights, door handles and boot inlay. I am not sure if all of these parts can be wrapped - in particular I've seem some videos where they've said the boot inlay has to be painted. Can anybody give me advice on this?
2. On the wheel powder coat, I'll need to get the wheel nuts and centre wheel caps in black as well (I assume these can't be coated). I'm struggling to find somewhere where I can buy these, and I don't know what the specs are. Again, does anybody have any advice?
Whilst I'm here (cold be wrong thread), coupe more questions:
1. Do I get adaptive cruise control, even though I don't have EAP? I think not.
2. Do I get dynamic turning lights? I think not.
3. And does the spoiler actively move, or is it just states? I think it's just in a fixed position?
Thanks very much in advance for your help.
