New York State EV Rebate

I will be getting my Tesla in 3 to 6 weeks and I have now idea how Tesla handles the New York State rebate. The NYS rebate website says that the dealer reduces the price by the amount of the rebate, but on my Tesla Purchase agreement there is no mention of the rebate and the purchase price reflects no rebate. Can any of you New York Tesla owners tell me how this works?
