Noisier in warmer weather?

This might sound totally daft and could be just my imagination but has anyone found their car seems much noisier (road noise) the last couple of days?

This is the warmest it’s been since I got the car last autumn and I’m sure it’s a lot louder when I was driving around this afternoon.

(Trying to work out if I’m imagining things or if my little tap with a kerb yesterday has caused some other issue beyond scraping the alloys).

Did you check your tyre pressures? If you left the car in the sun prior to driving you can bet they were sky high after a drive.

They were 43-45. (Normally as far as I’ve noticed they sit around 41 while driving)

When it's sunny and hot I can hear shadows on the road, which is weird.

I got out of the car on Monday after charging and is sounded like a Harrier taking off. I guess the fans need to work a lot more in this hotter weather.

I've noticed mine suddenly get a lot more road noise. I thought maybe a seal had gone on the door or something. Tyres have popped up to about 45/46 so maybe it's that - I'll let some air out and see!

I got up rediculously early today to see if it was any better before it got warmer and I’m certain it’s nowhere near as noisy as it was yesterday afternoon so I guess it’s just the temperature resulting in higher tyre pressure (pressure was 40-41 today).

Going a road trip to London at the weekend so shall see how it is on that - just an annoying coincidence that I thought I’d damaged something hitting the wheels
