Non connected wire on driver's side kick panel

I found this connector on the driver's side kick panel. It was just by itself, I tried to see if it was disconnected from something but i couldn't find one. Is this how it supposed to be, just hanging by itself like this or was this connected from something else.The 2 wires in the picture are green and black. I have a 2016 version pre-facelift (January 2016) with standard audio
