Last Nov picked car up on Tuesday and received rebate payment on the Friday same week.

It's different system/process as freebate is not long term rebate or similar... I had money within 48 hours, usually if it's longer than a week - give them call, because last thing you want is someone else updated some details and got your money (scams) or they are waiting on some information.

I haven't heard anything yet, submitted the application on the 4th before I picked up the car. It's a govt department, don't hold your breath.

Yep, took 20 calendar days to come through. Applied on the 4th as soon as I had rego number, email on the 23rd, $$ in account on 24th.

Interesting that there is no fixed ETA, depends when Transport gods decide to work and start giving away free money...
