Offroading in tri-motor - tank like control?

With the dual motors in the back, the CT tri motor can in essence act like a tank and turn in place. What does this mean for rock crawling and off roading? Any other vehicle (other than a tank) had this ability in the past? Does this give the CT tri motor super offroading capabilities for climbing and getting around ruts/rocks?

Rivian is QUAD motor hence better at this!

Ok so the answer is no other vehicle currently has this feature then? So its benefits in real world off roading aren’t quite known yet (aside from spinning 360 in a mud field).

Nothing you'd find off road right now. In addition to the Rivian prototypes shown above, there have been several one off or small production EV supercars with individual wheel motors and torque vectoring that are presumably capable of it (Jaguar X75, MB SLS AMG, Nio EP9, Rimac Concept One,) and Acura made multimotor torque vectoring a feature of the RLX and NSX hybrids.

There are hybrid skid-steer types of construction and off-road equipment than can do both skid-steer types of control and also have steerable wheels which can be used for conventional steering, or hybrid modes.

And as mentioned, differential braking has been around for a long time on tractors and other off-road equipment.
