i ordered on Oct 19 and with 3 days was told that my Model 3 would be ready for pickup about an hour away. That’s about 2 months sooner than expected. I was worried I wouldn’t get the federal rebate! Very happy!

Mine was pretty quick too. 15 days and they schedule a delivery date already. I was expecting next month. LR RWD here in SoCal. 102xxx VIN. Hopefully there’s no push back rescheduling...
I've read that it's an option through the end of this week, but that you have to call Tesla.

I went into Tesla pretending I haven’t place an order asking for a LR RWD and they said they can’t do it on the back end anymore. This was last Saturday. Give Tesla a call.
I hope mine will be that fast... ordered 10/14 and still waiting. So Cal DBM LR RWD 19” black

To clarify, I ordered the LR AWD. Talking with my rep today, he told me they have hundreds sitting. It’s just a matter of which options with which colors. I’m even more stoked that instead of have to drive over an hour, they are going to bring it to me. I’m going to look over every inch of that paint. I want to do a PPF and maybe ceramic coating but I’m being told by some of the local shops that Tesla paint quality has been very hit and miss. The only other concern was when I was looking at the terms and conditions I didn’t find anything about the three day satisfaction guarantee that I’ve been reading about. When I ask the wrap, he told me they don’t put that in the contract but it’s public knowledge that if someone really doesn’t want the car they won’t force you to keep it. Coming from a contract law background, it sounds a little shaky but he told me I can trust Elon, lol.
Congrats! I had similar experience. Ordered on Oct. 12, Received VIN Oct. 19, delivery scheduled for Nov. 10!! Fingers crossed!
