I know it was a joke. But the current situation is complicated and the OP isn't likely to know the details.

The lower voltage of the 75 packs normally means slower charging compared to 90/100 packs, but Raven cars have higher limits, at least on v3 Superchargers.

And in this case, you're getting enough more distance per kWh to make up for it, and you'll charge faster on AC and go further with the brand new smaller pack.

Ultimately, I was just trying to see if the 2016 90D’s and P90D’s should be avoided and if saving 20K or so is worth it.

Personally I would stay away from the P's. There are a lot of them for sale because people off loaded them.

If you want to save money and don't want to deal with as many issues then go with a 90.

I would suggest waiting until you can afford a newer 100.
