Ordering from inventory vs design your own?

Doing the FSD transfer from 3 to Y. Hoping to get delivery before end of Sept for the FSD transfer.

If I order from "Coming soon" vs "Design your own", do I save a lot of time? Coming soon means it's on the ship now, arriving soon?

Was hoping to time is towards the end of Sept just in case it'll be shipped with HW4.

Not sure about coming soon, but my dad custom ordered a Y on the 23rd and after saying delivery Aug 25-Sept 8 for 10 days it's now Aug 11- Aug 25th., but still no VIN assigned yet.

Your Dad Tesla VIN is hided in one of two documents. Take a look again.

I've only seen a reservation number so far, but I'll have him pull it up in a desktop browser tomorrow and dig around a bit. I'm not really expecting to see anything until it clears customs in Vancouver and on a carrier to Calgary.
