I was in Ottawa this weekend. I drove up from highway 7 and was driving in the middle lane on NoA on the 417 and the nav suggesting switching to the left lane and then into the HOV lane. It stayed in the HOV lane until the end and then switched back over two lanes at which point I canceled NoA.
So to all those complaining about HOV lane in the GTA I'm guessing it's a problem with map data and not the software.
