Paint defect - what is this?

It came from the factory in this condition.

What do you think caused this paint defect? How would it be repaired?

Looks like a birdshit sitting too long on paint.
In that case, the damage can almost be polished away with autopolish.
Next give all top surfaces Paint projektion ex. Ultraglozz as i use - then you are safe from *sugar*
