Paint protection for sills?

The paint on the outer sills of my Model 3 look like this in some places after 5000 miles. I'm a bit worried how it's going to hold up in the longer term. Should I be concerned and what are the best options for paint protection. Thanks.

Xpel do lower rocker (sill) kits (which include lower strip of doors) - about £400 fitted by a Xpel Approved Installer (on already prepared car) - as opposed to Xpel Trained Installers which I cannot recommend.

If you go that way, note there are some different options - wrapped edges (not possible on all edges) and iirc whether there is a seam on lower panel. A decent installer will cut the film on their own kit so should be flexible on options.
