Passenger back rest stopped working?

This week the passenger back rest has stopped working in my 2020 M3.
Any suggestions or do I need to make a service appointment?

I'd go with "appointment" if in warranty still.

The mobile tech came by today and replaced the broken plastic switch that had somehow sheered off inside the seat cavity. He said they are quite delicate and he himself had broken one with his foot on a customers car. Good to go now!
