Peeling Yolk

We have a 2022 X. The “wheel” on the yolk is starting to peel. If you’ve have this problem, what have you done?

I had the same problem with my S, Tesla replaced it for free via their mobile service.

I've read that they are getting a new version with a better material in July/August. So if you can wait, I would....or at least ask about it before they swap it out. Since it's a "wear item" they are telling people they are only doing one free swap.

I hate it when my car has yolk all over it! The yoke steering however has had its wear issues
