Not a Tesla owner, but I did put down the $1k deposit years ago. I thought they didn't give that priority anymore though. I don't see VIN in source code, so I asked the SA for it.

I ordered a white/white M3P FSD on 8/21. Ordered online as I live in Michigan. Haven’t heard a thing but checked the source code today and see a VIN.

Can anyone shed light on how long it usually takes to officially hear from Tesla about an assigned VIN or delivery date once the VIN initially shows up in your source code?

Has anyone changed their color after the $1000 price increase? Wondering if you stayed at the old pricing structure at time of original order, or where made to pay the extra $1000. I know the website says you could be on the hook for latest pricing, but wondering what the reality is.

Also, do you think you get bumped to the back of the line?

VIN 454XXX showed in source code this morning.
Nothing else besides "source code" shows anything: no update on account page, nor any text or emails.

I had ordered same config on 8/9 in NY metro area - still no VIN.

Fairly accurate +/-- 2 days. You can ask for earlier delivery if possible, I did.
