Ordered W/B M3P on 7/28, Socal . Still no VIN but I called the sales advisor yesterday, they said I am assured/confirmed a car by the end of the month...whatever that means. Like they don't know the VIN yet but they have some knowledge who is getting a car before quarter end and who is not. Also asked if I could get the unlimited two year supercharging deal, they said they would refer my case to management. Management called me minutes later and said yes but I must take delivery before months end to get the deal, I would lose the deal if I could not pick up, but would not lose the deal if it is Teslas fault the car isn't delivered by end of Q3..
Also interesting that I learned is they can only build US market cars for so long before they need to shutdown the factory to retool and build export cars. Sounds to me that if the backlog of US orders is too long that some people may miss out on Q3 builds, implying that they would be in the same cycle we just went through with export cars built first then US west coast cars at the end of Q4. That would suck.
chrome trim on one side has a scratch and on drivers side its dented where the drivers door meets it...but the good news is already got a service appt scheduled... lmao...also was told 2 years free supercharging was added to my acct... charged twice.. no problem... third time... credit card was charged... not sure what happened there...but seriously with all the let downs... i forget them once i sit in the drivers seat... the car is so f-ing awesome...
