How the hell do I still not have a VIN with a 10/31 order date and multiple promises I'd be getting it momentarily the entire time. I am getting worried.

I'm saying the say thing. I ordered on10/17 a White/White M3P+ in Atlanta and still no VIN..

The difference is pretty simple: If you want bigger wheels/tires, bigger calipers, and lower ride, then the P+ is what you want. If you don’t care about that stuff, only what the speed, and plan on keeping it stock, the stealth is a great choice.

P- buyers who plan to upgrade those three and think they’re going to save money might be in for a surprise. They’re also giving Tesla an EASY out on any future warranty claims for parts associated with the modification.

They could see non OEM parts and void the warranty. They’ll be at the mercy of the SC.

This is common knowledge for people who have been in the car game for a while and know this is the part of the risk with modifying. But I don’t think a lot of people picking up stealths really now what they may be stepping into (if they plan to modify).

But that’s their problem. If they like their stealth, I love it.

going to the DC to harass my real nice SA lol. Was at an orientation yesterday and ran into him and he checked inventory. Said they also got a new demo vehicle that hasn’t been used yet, so I asked him to ask his manager if I can buy it. Headed there now to look at it since it is daytime.

I’m in UTAH, 10/24 order date. Seeing you’re basically in the same area I’m in but that your order date is almost two weeks sooner than me, really just discouraged me I’ll see a vin soon...

Anyone waiting in RI? I now have 3 different dates from 3 different Tesla sources. The email from a delivery specialist in Las Vegas said the car will arrive in RI on 12/18. The text message they sent to let me schedule on the Tesla website let me pick 12/17. My delivery specialist in RI is saying the car won't arrive until 12/26.

This process is crazy and I'm not sure who to believe.

I ordered on 11/10 and went to pre-delivery training on Thursday last week, they told us that they were expected over 250 deliveries over the next two weeks, which sounded like that starts the end of next week. So fingers crossed for you, me and all the others

My buddy just got a brand new white stealth performance. He’s pretty confident he’s the smarter one with the money he saved. However, when I get my Grey Performance, I want to do a series if videos putting the two cars in side-by-side tests. Hopefully, it will help answer some of the questions about the what’s the better buy. Even if it’s only “curb-side” visual appeal, I’ll be pretty happy with my purchase and the price.

I'd love to know what your findings are! I am getting a Performance and have no misgiving, but just curious since it often comes up! Never could find a YouTube comparison!
There has long been speculation and comments that the "best" performing motors are selected for the Performances. There might even be something about a different inverter. Musk has tweeted and some blogs have discussed it. I'd imagine differences are marginally noticeable, if at all...but nonetheless there are differences then other than cosmesis.
