That guy, Phil, probably knows more about the vehicle overall than any of the Tesla engineers who specialize in different systems. He pointed out the one design oversight that I'm aware of - the write cycle limit of a chip in the MCU. He does a rebuild on them and has many customers of older Teslas. The guy really knows his stuff.
