Based on the spreadsheet here, it looks like there's a backlog of about 3 months for AWD and P models at the current production rate (including accounting for new orders)

Assuming they can ramp volume a little bit, there should be a comfortable margin. If they can't, it will be close, but you should both still make it.

Is there any way to know what's sitting in a lot and available? I read that there are LR RWD models sitting in lots.

There was an excess of RWD models sitting on lots at the beginning of July because they slowed deliveries to avoid hitting the 200K limit that starts the decrease of the Federal incentive.
It is virtually certain that that backlog is long gone. They've done good work at getting caught up with LR orders. It looks like there's effectively no wait for people ordering LR cars now.
Any cars sitting in lots now are likely doing so for logistical reasons (due to transit bottlenecks, for example).
