Check on Ebay, there are plenty of precut 3M PPF.
I have my PPF ready, just wait for the Y.
The PPF works perfect on our Odyssey, at least for hood and bumper. I did not see any chip marks comparing to my BMW (without PPF) with plenty of damages.
It depends I guess? I started with PPF on head lamps first, then did some window tinting, then I tinted back window and windshield, not perfect as pros obviously, but not that hard.
I put my own PPF on the 3 and I've never done it before. Don't listen to the people saying it can't be done.
People pay 8k for ppf and try to justify that price by saying it can't be done otherwise.

Has anybody found pre-cut ppf for the rear fenders to prevent chips being thrown up from the front tires (until mud flaps are available)?
Not sure which brands can be found precut to do myself so will search once I decide on which ppf brand — in the meantime I found a youtuber torture testing the different ppf films - I’ve been watching his videos while I wait on delivery before deciding on which film to go with - see if his channel helps regarding brand comparisons:
