Price difference for stock car M3 with tow attachment

Looking on the Tesla website, it seems that buying a stock car with tow costs £2k more than the base price, rather than £1k for a custom order. Is this normal? I was thinking about picking up a car from stock but if it’s an extra grand for the tow I might just order and wait.

There seem to be 2 available inventory cars with towbars (+£1000) in the UK right now but they both also have paint options - one is black (+£1000) and one red (+£2000).
