No ceramic coating. Must be superior Tesla Paint. Deer ran out from edge, WHANGED into car at my elbow, hitting driver's and rear left passenger door joining, and bounced right off. Just like Rain-X. Barely disturbed the dust on the door. Then got up, and ran into the bushes, seemingly not hurt. I was doing maybe 50 mph.

At 60 mph Autopilot can’t reliably see stopped cars either.

The radar generally can’t. The cameras in theory can, but they’ve only recently started making more use of these, and it’s still relatively early so you definitely shouldn’t rely on it.
