PSA - How to help FSD deal with road problems
There’s a poorly placed stop sign near my house that is visible by a road that the sign isn’t intended for. As such, it is read by FSD and the car brake checks. It’s right after a traffic light, a 45 MPH road, and near a highway entrance ramp. So when cars are accelerating FSD will brake check at the worst possible time.
Yesterday, I reached out my local county. They quickly replied that it was a state road and forwarded the message to the appropriate department. I already got a reply from the state that they’re dispatching a crew to (hopefully) repair.
Iif you are aware of a problem on a road, don’t assume the county, or state is aware and will repair it. Reach out to your town, county, or state public works department.
