Question about charging cables

Dear members,

I used to own a Volvo PIH around 2016 and since a few days I own a Tesla Model Y.

Now, with the Volvo I used a Type 2, Phase 1 charging cable can I use this charging cable in my Tesla Model Y as well? If not can it do any harm when I try to stick it in the charging outlet of my Tesla?

Thanks in advance for the answer.

It should work fine and definitely won't harm the Tesla. However, the allowed amperage is limited by the cable itself, so it may be limiting your available charging speed if the vehicle and charging station have higher specs.
As I recall, European 3 & Y can charge at up to 32A single phase and 16A three phase.
