Question about Trade in Process - Valuation

If Tesla makes me an offer of $13000 and then finds out there are accidents on my carfax will they devalue the trade in vehicle? Carmax says it's worth $14,480

Then it sounds like you should take it to carmax. As for your question... flip that around and ask yourself. If you were buying a used car from someone then found out it had accidents on its record would you pay the same?

You are basically asking "will they catch this", I guess, because I dont think you believe a car with accidents on its record is worth the same as one without.
