Raising the price of the 14-50 adapter

The neutral is only useful if you want to have both 240V and 120V, like in an RV. For EV charging it is useless. Most EV owners do not need to power an RV in their home.

I do.

RV's do not use 240v, the wiring on a RV (50amp service) has each 110V leg isolated. Half the overall load of the RV systems will be on L1, the other half on L2, everything is 110V. You basically have 2, 50 AMP circuits available. I have a 14-50 wired in my garage and at my busimness that services my Class A motor home when parked at the house and charges my M3 daily. At my business, the coach stays plugged in to run the A/C units, etc and charges the car whenever I need extra energy for a unplanned trip during the day.

I have to agree with Nayston, 14-50 more versatile.
