That’s where we started ... but I think the problem is that black shows a lot more paint blemishes than white. White hides a LOT.... so it makes sense as the high-volume paint.
That would be awesome, but then they'll probably start charging for basic auto pilot.
They did before. So why not now?
Want to and can are two different things. They are making three products and only one in any real volume. It will be awhile until they are one of the big boys.
Blue is awesome on these. I still smile when I think of how much I like each color except the plain black because I love black cars and do not mind doing the work to keep them nice. Just this model 3 black is too basic.
your blue is great and the red is awesome.
Showed too many imperfections and cost them more to fix because they had to fix more. The rest aren’t painted better just don’t show errors as much. It is the cheapest paint and the cheapest to apply but easiest to spot issues and thus costs Tesla more. They couldn’t improve paint techniques? They had to just charge more because they knew they would have to fix more ?
