Rear Quarter Rocker Panel Issue

Has anyone had this issue where the plastic part comes loose? I tried to get it back into place but it seems like the plastic is bent.

I have the same issue on my car, both sides. I suspect that if you removed the panel, you would find dirt in there. I think that during the winter freeze that the water trapped inside expands and pushes the panel away from the rocker. I will probably ask my SC if they have a fix. If not I will reattach it myself with some black self-taping sheet metal screws.
