Rear trunk chimes sound distorted-speaker problem?

When I close the rear trunk, the chimes sound distorted. Like the speaker paper was teared or glue is off.

I made an appointment next month, but found estimated $165.75 fee. Is this under warranty?

First time to do service for 2021 Model 3.

Anyone have the same problem?

I find my Model 3 trunk chime kind of loud and harsh ….. compared to my Y which is much more “refined” sounding. Figure it is just a cheaper car and they saved some money back there. Can’t get too excited about the sound of the trunk chime though ….. not real important to me.

I would as the SA if they find its a defect if there will be a charge (sometimes they put a charge on there then remove it if it is a defect. If they say its not covered i would ignore it Tbh

It should have the following disclaimer on the quote like my current quote. Of course my quote is fir a key fob because appears a fob can be washed twice but not 3 times. So it’s clearly in me.
