rebate approved, pending

Yup, still waiting for the $1,875 rebate from Tesla on my not-quite-Dec31 Model 3.
After 6 months, I continue to hear "it has been approved by finance, and is pending".

Is anybody else getting the same story, or is this just me?!
Has anybody received the missed-2019-delivery rebate in the last few months?

Found out today that, "most checks were cut Mar/Apr, but some are remaining."
We're waiting to hear back from "Operations" as to the status of my rebate.

I have to say it is a sad state of affairs when a corporation moves slower than a bureaucratic government office.

How much confidence do you put in this tip?

Four months after, "your case, just like those of a few other customers, has been submitted for approval by the Regional Manager, but haven’t yet been approved. We will follow up in the next couple of days", I figure no reply means no.

Hallelujah, the check finally arrived this week, over 6 months after I took delivery on Jan 4.
Why now?
It might be that I went and camped out in the Fremont factory showroom one Friday afternoon,
or more likely, that we rolled over into a new quarter.
Regardless, they finally came through on their promise,
and I can finally check this off my list.
Good luck to others still waiting.
