Adjustment for Ohlins R&T is 0-20 click range, instructions can be downloaded here:Maybe it was 60 clicks?
Answered in this thread: Ohlins - Road & Track DFV Coilover SystemsFront is most definitely 30 clicks. I counted. Instructions say 20. That doesn't match what's on my car.
I've not counted the rear as they are a pain to turn.
This morning I did that same drive that my wife's "smoother" comment was from (https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/posts/6799946/), without any passengers, almost no traffic, and all cargo in the trunk (nothing loose in the cabin or super heavy). I set the dampers the same as I have for my wife, 16 of 32 clicks from full stiff. Here's a comparison I find interesting. My wife and I have an air suspension Model S P85, in addition to our M3P. Both are currently on 245/45 tires on 8.5" wide wheels, the S on all-seasons, the M3P on "max performance" summer tires with more grip and stiffer sidewalls.
With the M3P Öhlins damper settings I've been using for my wife, if you drive both cars casually straight down a nasty torn up city street...the air suspension S is smoother to me, without a doubt. It's not the smoothest air suspension ever but it's good and it has that nice premium air ride quality I've never felt from any coil spring suspension. Plus the S has more suspension travel than the 3, which helps over really nasty stuff.
After my wife took her first extended drive (solo) in the M3P since the Redwood Sport Öhlins + MPP FLCA bearings upgrades, with the last section being 40-50 miles of twisties of wide ranging pavement quality, she made an unsolicited comment over video chat calling it "smoother than the old car" (our S).
She doesn't like talking cars, nor does she ever mince words or tell me anything nice just to be nice. So she really meant it. Driven that way, in a quick pace over challenging conditions, it was literally a smoother experience than the air suspension Model S. Take that as you will.
We'll be installing the Sporster CS and Sparco SPXs in a couple of upcoming builds for Sema.I wish Tesla had some Recaro options for the M3P. I miss those seats.
With side airbags and seat heaters? If seat heaters, will they be controlled through the MCU still? We'll be installing the Sporster CS and Sparco SPXs in a couple of upcoming builds for Sema.
You still selling these GT/Sport/Performance versions of the Ohlins? Looks like your website took down your version and you only sell the R&T Ohlins now.View attachment 703854
Built from the ground up, we have partnered with Öhlins Suspension - the world's foremost leader in damper technology - to pioneer the gold standard for Tesla Model Y performance coilovers. Found on hyper-cars from Koenigsegg to Pagani, Öhlins dampers represent the pinnacle of modern suspension technology. This suspension blends track-ready damping performance with the compliance and comfort required for street use, and maintains an extremely wide range of damping adjustability.
Designing a shock dedicated for either street use or performance use is relatively simple. However, creating a single damper that is effective in both arenas is significantly more challenging from an engineering perspective. Öhlins' exclusive patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, along with precision machining, internal seals, and Öhlins buttery smooth 1304 shock oil, yields an ultra-low hysteresis shock which can damp bumps over fractions of a millimeter. For the end-user, the result is a suspension that provides maximum grip in the corners, yet a firm-but-supple ride quality on the street. Those who have driven this setup have commented that the Redwood Motorsports Ohlins kit is surprisingly more comfortable than stock, yet one of the highest grip/performing coilovers they've driven. Best of both worlds!

Extensive in development and testing with top motorsports manufacturers has paid off with what we believe is the Gold Standard that other shocks will be measured against. Not only the highest performing suspension available for the Tesla Model Y, but with the most supple ride quality - hands down.

Additional Technical Details:
The precise control of the Öhlins DFV dampers are both due to the patented Dual Flow Valve pistons, as well as the high attention to detail and component tolerances, typically found on much higher-end shocks. The end result is a damper that has the ability to optimally track the movement of the road surface, increasing tire contact patch and therefore total available grip. Öhlins patented Dual Flow Valve piston contains center and side exit oil flow paths, which allows for separate control of low-speed, high-speed, and ultra-high-speed damping. The DFV has the unique ability to remain firm when it needs to (for body control movement), reduce damping force (for bump control), and significantly bleed-off damping force under high linear accelerations (to absorb abrupt and sharp impacts) instead of transferring them to the chassis. This makes the Ohlins DFV unsurpassed on both the track and street, as berms, mid-corner bumps, and other surface irregularities can be soaked up on track, as opposed to upsetting the chassis.
The same ultra-high-speed damping force is helpful on the street, as a firm-but-supple ride can be maintained for optimal body-control handling, while potholes and large impacts are readily absorbed during day to day driving.
An additional feature of the DFV is its internal temperature correction needle-valve, which meters the flow of shock oil to compensate for changing oil viscosity, based on shock temperature. This needle valve closes for cold temperatures where the shock oil is thicker, and opens to compensate for thinner oil viscosity when the shock becomes hot - resulting in absolutely consistent performance in all circumstances despite the internal temperature of the damper!

I still see Redwood's own Öhlins DFV based coilovers on their website. I'm sure they're still making them, they even got trained and authorized by Öhlins to do full damper valving/assembly in house this year. You still selling these GT/Sport/Performance versions of the Ohlins? Looks like your website took down your version and you only sell the R&T Ohlins now.
Thats the Model 3 product page, I was talking about the Model Y coiloversThey all show up here.

I don't seem them available for Model Y on the product page anymore, only the R&T. The Model 3 page still has them showing. Maybe since theyre offering the springs and RW fork as options on the R&T as upgrades theyre just going to have one listing going forward and you can configure as needed.I still see Redwood's own Öhlins DFV based coilovers on their website. Oh that is weird. Have you asked them about it?Thats the Model 3 product page, I was talking about the Model Y coilovers
That was what my above comment was asking them. I dont have a need since I already have the RT kit, was just curious though as I stumbled upon itOh that is weird. Have you asked them about it?
Their coilovers product page is still up but you're right, it's not linked from their Y products list anymore. Google still finds it. I'm guessing the listing being removed is just an oversight/mistake.

You're not crazy. The rears do have 60+ clicks so you have to set the rear to a much higher number of clicks from full stiff to get a comparable feel to the front.Maybe it was 60 clicks?
