Replace LED strip for DRL lights on refreshed Model S

I looks like a lot of Model S (refreshed) owners have issues with the DRLs which requires spending time at the shop (if fortunate enough to still have the car under warranty).

I wonder if there's a way to change the LEDs for the DRLs ourselves, potentially using even brighter and more reliable LEDs (I feel like the DRLs are not even close in terms of brightness to the other premium brands like Audi, Cadillac or Volvo).

I could not find much information about this on the web, so does anyone have any experience with replacing the damn LED strip?

Tesla mobile service tech had my entire light cluster few months back (burnt out DRLs) as he says there's no serviceable components (i.e. LEDs are not replaceable)

Yeah, laser welded seems. Swap out for newest gen anyway, waterproofing keeps getting better with each Gen. Watch your tailgate lights, those die first
