Reservation Transfer?

Having a Model X LR reservation for Sep but wanted to switch to a different model.
Figured someone could use the spot for faster delivery and lower price.
Haven't entered registrant info - would having a different name than reservation payment info be an issue?

It’s not an issue as long as you find right buyer and have a mutual agreement. They’ll deliver car to registrant’s local area as long as they have sufficient notice.

Yes, I had an S LR due in August, I was impatient and ordered a Plaid that is due in March, and then Tesla texts me with a VIN and a February delivery date for the LR. I picked it up last week, so obviously I wont need the Plaid. I cant get a straight answer on how to transfer my Plaid reservation without essentially giving a stranger full access to my account that has my S, my wife’s 3, and my CyberTruck reservation. Any ideas? Tesla says it cant be done.
