Retrofit heated steering wheel/yoke

I tried looking up in other posts but only found info for model 3s. Does anyone know or have added a heated steering wheel to an early production (2020) model Y? It’s the one feature I’m missing from my truck. I wouldn’t mind paying Tesla to add it but haven’t reached out yet. Is it possible just need to install new steering wheel or is there a cable that wasn’t run to the steering column. Any info would help.

Summary: Apparently you can retrofit it, but you need a separate aftermarket controller that basically copies the setting from the heated driver seat. So you can’t turn it on or off separately. The main issue is that there is no way to change the config of the car to implement the OEM functionality where you control the heated steering wheel from the climate control menu.

That looks interesting. Thanks for the video. I contacted Tesla and they said there’s no official retrofit and they don’t plan on having one.
