Ride comfort: Y vs 3

I have a M3 AWD, and have ordered a MY AWD.

I find the M3 fantastic to drive, however the suspension is very stiff, and theres quite a bit of tire/road noise.

I have read that the Y is a little bit more quiet, except for the heat pump (?).

So i'm wondering, how do you find the ride comfort in Y vs 3? Is it equally stiff? How about the sound levels? Do you have the Performance or the regular awd?

I love my MY performance, I find it to be quieter than the 3, but the ride feels very similar.
