Maybe Rivian will update the ABRP UI to make it more intuitive.

PR charade: so there’s definitely a dialogue then. Shame if ABRP became closed to a particular mark. Not impossible to replicate but still. Why couldn’t Google or Microsoft stump up the pony instead.

Good point! I have finally been forced off the abetterrouteplanner "classic" site due its final discontinuation. I have been trying to find my way around the newer interface and I am, quite frankly, appalled!

I am a little concerned that this may cause ABRP to get locked down/be differentiated with Robison only features.

I hope not, but these types of services tend to do best when not having to follow the whims of a management who see it as a very small non core part of a company.

One exception would be Prusa slicer.. but even that has some Prusa specific quirks.

Perhaps there is room for an open street map like open source option in the market? Did ABRP file any patents that would make that hard?
