Road trip, 220 miles between stops at cool temps

I presume you were traveling around or under 70. On my trips between SLC and Las Vegas I would never even consider more than 200 miles between superchargers. Even that is sketchy. Actual range is usually around 2/3 of what the rated range.
 
As you gain more experience with driving an EV and more confidence with the car, you will realize the benefit of arriving at a SC with a low SOC. The initial charging rate is significantly faster, which makes for a quicker trip. On long road trips, I plan to arrive at the SC with 5-10% SOC each and every time (other than my final destination).
