Rocks accumulating inside bumper.

just wondering if anyone else has this issue? I noticed there’s two gaps where bottom of the bumper meets the black panel on both the passenger and driver side, and small rocks are accumulating inside. Isnt the black panel supposed to be flushed with the bumper?

I just noticed today rock accumulation but from the wheel-well side. The rocks are flying off the front tire and the flimsy liner is tucked inside of the bumper base. This allows the debris to accumulate and allow larger debris into the bumper area over time. I hadn't imagined it would accumulate so much that the front of the bumper assembly might separate. I will have to inspect the underside to see if there is a panel release when I change over to winter tires.
