Hope this isn't too dumb of a question but just wondering, do all Model 3's have the same exact battery, and the software just tells it how much range & power to allow? Kind of like how the SR has less range than the SR+?
If so, would it be possible to get a SR+ that costs a little less, and then call up Tesla and ask for an upgrade to LR at a later date for an extra fee after I have time to save up a little? I really would like a LR, but SR+ is already a little past my budget
