Rust Treatment Advice Please

Nick (67K miles) isn't under warranty, and I discovered this rust:

Note that I live a stone's throw from the ocean where everything either molds or rusts, and I often have a salty wetsuit in the trunk.

Here are two anti-rust products I have:

I could put those on the rust then paint with a Rustoleum primer, or I could buy some other products.

What do you suggest?

Yikes! I am what they call, "partisan of the least effort" and would probably have my detailing guy look at this. Otherwise I would probably ask the body and paint guys, what is safest.

Which part of the car is the rust shown in your photo? Otherwise I suggest you need to paint over the primer as added protection. Given that you live near the beach, regular washing and cleaning is very necessary.
