Does anyone know a bit more about OBDII and what the risk of damage might be if the dongle were to malfunction ? Aside from causing a simple malfunction , I’m assuming it could result in needing to replace the MCU if sending excessive voltage ? I’m sure it’s tested but wondering what worst case scenario might be .
