Come on. A self driving car that maintains speed and lane controlled? with a TV screen? And a positive pressure filtered atmosphere to get rid of smoke? With a panoramic glass roof? And you can talk to people through the car dash like a telephone?get out! I can't wait to see some thing like this!
Well they were right on a few things but missed the target year by a few generations as well as the drive technology. And they never imagined the car would do all this itself without some odd uniformed guy in a control tower monitoring you. Of course computers were only a few years old at that time and big as a room, who would have guessed at the marvel of miniaturization with dozens of chips in a car. Too bad people don't break out in harmony traveling across country more!
