Sentry/Cam not working at all

Hi.

M3 LR that’s a year old. No issues with sentry and dash cam until just before Christmas. Now neither are working at all. I’ve been using a Samsung T5.

I have tried reformatting the drive but it’s still not working,

Odd that even without a drive attached to the car, the sentry eye is still visible and can be selected on screen.

No idea what’s happening, any advice appreciated. Cheers

Can you see/use the drive when its connected to a normal computer? Have you tried writing a file to it?

yep, the drive seems fine. I have named the folder and formatted as required etc

Have you put a phone in the USB socket to see if it still charges?

Yeh and the power is on for the drive
