September 2021 order - can I change 7 seater to 5 seater now without affecting price ?

Hello.

I placed my model y in September 2021 and have a 7 seater config. (White exterior , black interior, long range)

My SA insist that if I remove the 7 seater option and it would affect the pricing , it will be new pricing which is even higher than 5 seater. Is this true ?

My edd is june 1 - june 29 currently. Will Changing this make this available sooner ?

Lastly i have a trade in set for my wife’s bmw 3 series. It expired around june and I entered new odometer. I read from somewhere that I risk getting passed if it expires again. Is it true ?

I am located in New York and will be pickup in smithtown location. I am quite sure ny state is suppose to take off portion of tax based on trade in price but looking at the current invoice, it didn’t seem like it. Is this just waiting to be finalized ?

Changing your order now would make the price go up and possibly the wait time longer. It would be considered a new order. The expiration of the odometer reading I couldn't tell you about.

I think for orders placed on or after August 1, 2021 there is no price difference in the US. You should be able to edit without being penalized.

Also had a 7 seat MYLR order placed in September 2021. Thought it would come sooner if I changed to a 5 seater. Made the change back in mid-March. My EDD pushed out even further. Gave up on the MYLR and changed to a MYP and had the car in my driveway the next week.

thank you. i was able to remove the 7 seater today with the "Design link".

next i am trying to remove the trade-in but no luck yet. Unable to find the chat button and my SA is no where to be found.
