Should I have insurance or my warranty (500 miles before it ends) cover creaking?

Last Sunday night I set up an appt for loud creaking on right passenger side. My appointment is set for next week. This issue with my car came at a perfect time as my warranty is 500 miles away from ending (I drive 25-30k miles a year). Unfortunately, yesterday morning some jackass side swiped my front passenger side (minor damage) while on the freeway trying to squeeze in the last second between the car in front of me. The only damage I see is a small dent to the passenger right fender above the wheel. I’m hoping Tesla service dept doesn’t deny my issue with the creaking because of yesterday’s side swipe. My appt was set before the accident which I even recorded the creaking on my phone days before the accident and also have proof from CHP from the accident report that it happened after the appointment was set. Should I just let the insurance take care of all the issues at once since it’s all on that same side or have Tesla take care of creaking first then let body shop take care of the bodywork? Im just worried that Tesla will deny my warranty work because they will see that minor dent/scuff on right passenger side even though the creaking was before the accident.
