Should I peel the wood off?

Got a carbon fiber dashboard to put on my Tesla M3. Wondering if I should just peel the wood off or stick the carbon fiber dash on top.

It started to peel already so I didn’t think it would be a big deal to remove it.

Depends on how your CF piece is designed to fit. Some are complete replacements (more money) where you would remove the wood, and some are sit on top covers (cheaper), where you’ll need the old cover to attach the new one or it will have nothing to sit on top of.
